GO! COMING UP ROSES

Create amazing embroidery designs with GO! Coming Up Roses die by Michelle Griffith, Coming Up Roses Embroidery Designs CD for GO! by Michelle Griffith (3760) and Through the Garden Thread Collection by Michelle Griffith for GO! (GGR2021).

A rose by any other name would still be a pain in the hands to cut out perfectly. That's why the GO! Coming Up Roses die by Michelle Griffith is perfect for your quilting projects. This die makes quick work of cutting three beautifully curved rose shapes, a rose bud and two leaves. For easy applique, simply apply fusible web to the wrong side of fabrics prior to cutting.

The Coming Up Roses design is licensed exclusively to AccuQuilt and adds romance to your quilts without the hand ache.

How to Die Cut Coming Up Roses Shapes:

Apply fusible web product to the wrong side of the fabric, following manufacturer’s instructions, before cutting for fusible  appliqué.

  • Large Rose: Cut and fuse 3" x 3 1/2" rectangles. Cut 11 large roses across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 132 large roses.
  • Medium Rose: Cut and fuse 2 3/4" x 3" rectangles. Cut 13 medium roses across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 169 medium roses.
  • Small Rose: Cut and fuse 1 7/8" x 2" rectangles. Cut 21 small roses across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 378 small roses.
  • Leaves: Place scraps on blade and cut.

Why Quilters Love the GO! Coming Up Roses Die:

  • GO! Coming Up Roses has a very romantic look when assembled. Use for Baltimore Album applique quilts, wearables, gift tags, home decor and more.
  • No template required. The GO! Coming Up Roses die includes six applique shapes that are typically difficult to cut by hand.
  • Quickly and easily cut four of each pre-fused applique shape in one pass thru the cutter (fusible counts as one half layer of fabric).
  • Cut GO! Coming Up Roses out of a variety of fabrics: cotton, batiks, wool, felt, flannel, fleece, Cuddle® fabrics and more!
  • A great way to use up scraps.
  • Free pattern downloads available to get you started.
  • Charm Pack-friendly.

AccuQuilt Benefits:

  • Cut so much more fabric in less time.
  • Get accurate cuts every time -- No slipping rulers or mistakes
  • Easiest to use -- Simply place die on cutter, then fabric and cutting mat on top
  • Save fabric with Two Tone Foam -- Get more out of your fabric by placing it only over the shape you want to cut.
  • Safe to use -- No blades come anywhere near your fingers

Die Tips:

  • With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
  • Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle.  Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
  • Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
  • It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
